Positive behavioral Intervention/Support

New Lebanon Local School District is committed to the use of Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports at each school for the establishment of a school environment focused on the care, safety, and welfare of all students and staff members.  PBIS emphasizes the prevention of student behavior problems through the use of non-aversive techniques, which should greatly reduce, if not eliminate, the need to use restraint or inclusion.  The New Lebanon Positive Behavior and Supports and Limited Use of Restraint and Seclusion policy (5630.01) is available in the school policies section of the website or by reading the document below.
