  • Basketball- 3 year letter winner; Two time selection to Journal-Herald All League Team in 1954, 1955; Two time selection to Dayton Daily News All-County Team 1954, 1955; Selected as All Montgomery County All Star in 1955; Three year varsity starter with a career points average of 15ppg; Scored 1,061 career points

  • Baseball- 3 year letter winner; Three year starter as a pitcher/outfielder

  • TRACK and Field- 3 year letter winner; High Jump, Long Jump, and Relay member

  • Attended Denison University earning two varsity letters in both basketball and baseball

  • Graduated from Miami University in 1959 with a degree in Health and Physical Education

  • Wrestling Accomplishments: Career Won/Loss Record in Dual Matches of 186-69; 27 State Qualifiers with 12 State Placers; State Qualifier for 13 straight years; State Team Dual Qualifier in 2010 (3rd Place) and 2011 (5th Place); Coached a 2x State Champion and two State Runner-Ups; 82 District Qualifiers; Coached 2 Sectional Team Champions and 2 Runner-Ups; Coached 16 Sectional Champions; Coached 5 teams to SWBL Championships and 3 more to Runner-Up finishes; Coached 23 SWBL Champions and 94 SWBL Placers; Finished 8th in the State Team Poll in 2011; Ranked 1st in the Miami Valley Coaches Poll 5 times; Coached one (1) Nationally ranked wrestler and Honorable Mention All-American; Had 12 Academic All-State recipients; Coached eight (8) wrestlers to go on to wrestle in the NCAA: 1-Div. I, 2- Div. II, 5-Div. III; Div. III Coach of the Year in 2005-2006 and 2009-2010; OHSAA State Award in 2007 and 2012
