Drama

The Drama program performs two major productions each year. The first is a Dinner Theatre. This takes place mid-November. The show consists of several short plays and solo performances of popular show tunes. The cast serves dinner during the performances. These shows have traditionally sold out, so don't wait to get tickets.

The second major production is the spring musical. The Drama program has a tradition of putting on major shows that have had long runs on Broadway, have been made into movies, and have had popular actors star as lead roles. Recent productions have included Oklahoma!, The Music Man, Fiddler on the Roof, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and My Favorite Year.

The Drama Department is open to all students regardless of their participation in other music classes or activities. Our cast usually consists of around 30 students. Auditions are held prior to every production and consist of acting and singing.
