TRISHA (MILLER) FUGATE
PLAYER 1993-1996
  • Tricia earned 10 varsity letters at Dixie High School 
  • One in volleyball, one in soccer, four in basketball and four in track. 
  • Soccer Tricia is the leading career and season scorer at Dixie High School. She was a first team SWBL soccer player 
  • Basketball Tricia was a four year varsity player in basketball She is the second leading scorer at Dixie with 1,070 career points and a career average of 12.2 points per game. She was the second female player to score over 1,000 points in a career. She is third on the list of 300+ points per season with 370 during the 1995-1996 season and third on the highest average for a season with a 17.6 per game average during the 1995-1996 season. Tricia has the career steal record with 231 steals. She was MVP during the 1995-1996 season and was a First team SWBL player. Tricia was also First Team District 15 and a District 15 All Star. During her 1993-1994 and 1994-1995 seasons, her team was sectional champs and district runner-up. 
  • Track Tricia earned four varsity letters in track. She led the girl's team with most individual points all four years of high school. She placed in the SWBL league meets in Discus and the 200 M dash. Tricia was the SWBL Champion two times in the shot put. She was a regional qualifier in the discus. She was a District and Regional Champion in the shot put. Tricia was a two time State Qualifier in the shot put. 
  • Tricia was a salutatorian in the class of 1996 and earned Dixie's Jim Anderson Award and The Fred Durkle Scholarship. She also earned an Ohio First Academic scholarship and track scholarship to the University of Rio Grande where she was a two year Varsity letter recipient in track. Tricia graduated from Wright State University in 2000 with a B. S. in Health & Physical Education. 
  • Tricia taught three years at Dixie High School and was a three year varsity volleyball and track coach. She coached the 2002 girl's volleyball team to the first league championship at Dixie since 1990 in boy's sports and 1983 in girl's sports. She was 2002 SWBL Coach of the Year and SW District Coach of the Year.

  • All-Star catcher in 11 team Montgomery Co. League
  • Track-Ran 440, Mile Relay team, High Jump
  • Upon graduation played on various Amateur Baseball, Basketball and Fast Pitch Softball Teams,
  • Highlighted by being catcher on the Pensacola Naval Station Team that played against the World Champion Clearwater Bombers.
  • Coached various Little League Baseball and Assisted with the Miamisburg American Legion Baseball teams.

  • Golf – 3 Year Varsity Letterman and Team Captain; 1979, 1980 - SWBL 1 st Team, All District; 1980 Sectional Tournament Champion; Team MVP Senior Year; Received Numerous Individual Golf Awards
  • Baseball – 4 Year Varsity Letterman; Pitcher, Outfielder, 1 st Baseman; School Record of 16 Strikeouts in 1978 vs Carlisle; 1979 – SWBL Honorable Mention; 1980, 1981 SWBL 1 st Team, All District; 1981 – All Ohio, All Area Dayton Daily News; 1981 – Dixie Regional Semi Finalists;Played AA Baseball for H.H. Morgan in Dayton
