DHS Students of the Month for December

Logan Warner (12th), Jessica Boone (11th), Jonathon Ullery (10th), and Erica Smith (9th)

*Logan Warner

●       Grade: 12

●       Favorite Subject: Math

●       Biggest Influence and why: “My biggest influence is my mom because she gives me advice and she’s there when I need her.”

●       Favorite Hobbies or extra-curricular activities: acapella group and hanging out with friends

●       Favorite Movie: American Sniper

●       Favorite Book: A Child Called It

●       Favorite Food: Steak

●       “If I could trade places with someone for a day it would be Miranda Lambert because I would be married to Blake Shelton.”

●       “In 10 years, I hope to be married.”


*Jessica Boone

●       Grade: 11

●       Favorite Subject: English

●       Biggest Influence and why: “My biggest influence is my aunt because she was diagnosed with PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease) and continues to fight and never gives up!”

●       Favorite Hobbies or extra-curricular activities: playing soccer and photography

●       Favorite Movie: Tangled

●       Favorite Book: Coven

●       Favorite Food: Chicken

●       “If I could trade places with someone for a day it would be Hope Solo because I love soccer!”

●       “In 10 years, I hope to be either a dental hygienist or an athletic trainer.”


*Jonathon Ullery

●       Grade: 10

●       Favorite Subject: Math

●       Biggest Influence and why: “My biggest influence is Jesus Christ because of his incredible love.  You never reach a limit in his forgiveness and passion.  It’s amazing.”

●       Favorite Hobbies or extra-curricular activities: acting and watching old T.V. shows

●       Favorite Movie: Ferris Bueller’s Day Off

●       Favorite Book: It’s Kind of a Funny Story

●       Favorite Food: Archer’s pizza

●       “If I could trade places with someone for a day it would be no one because that would just open the door for me to not be happy with my life (but if I had to choose, it would probably be Keith Urban so I could judge American Idol).”

●       “In 10 years, I hope to be successful, married, and finished with college.”


*Erica Smith

●       Grade: 9

●       Favorite Subject: History

●       Biggest Influence and why: “My biggest influence is my mom because she is very smart and independent.”

●       Favorite Hobbies or extra-curricular activities: playing soccer and listening to music

●       Favorite Movie: Grease

●       Favorite Book: Hatchet

●       Favorite Food: pizza

●       “In 10 years, I hope to be a neurologist.”
